Troy-Bilt Messenger Chatbot

We worked with Troy-Bilt’s agency Marcus Thomas on the development of this Messenger-based shopping assistant/chatbot.

The chatbot is built on Google’s Machine Learning and Natural Language platform, allowing the bot to understand the language and meaning of what’s asked, and provide appropriate responses.

With over 950 ‘intents’, the chatbot helps consumers find the right Troy-Bilt mower for their needs with a natural language conversation. The chatbot includes:
– A quiz to identify the right mower(s) based on a consumer’s yard size, shape, and features.
– Side-by-side comparisons of Troy-Bilt’s line of mowers.
– In-depth feature descriptions.
– General information such as warranties and maintenance.

The chatbot was promoted with paid media as well as signage in Lowe’s stores across the U.S., allowing consumers to use the virtual shopping assistant while in-store.
