The ‘Small Business Big Shot Game’ is large-scale physical/digital installation that serves as a lead-generation tool for American Express.
The application captures relevant leads and allows Amex to segment and identify suitable financial products and services for each user that engages with the experience.
At it’s most basic, the app/game works much like other projects we’ve created for the brand. A touchscreen registration process captures user information before players are allowed to play the game/compete for a chance to win prizes.
The game itself is a head-to-head business trivia game, pitting 4 players against each other in a race against the clock.
Touchscreens that display the trivia Q&A are tied to LED-backlit cubes on a 21-foot tall tower. The cubes display lighting sequences and move up and down the tower in response to each player’s answer.
Before stepping up to play the full game, a number of tablet-based practice stations enables players to get familiar with the gameplay.
The experience debuted at CES in Las Vegas. The sheer scale of the installation made a spectacle on the show floor, attracting thousands of players and spectators. We created this installation with Momentum NY for American Express.
